Miller used these techniques ina intellectual way so he was able to express his ideas fully. One way wasthrough Alfieri, he was used as a character and a narrator toemphasize the themes to the audience. Alfieri leaves the audiencethinking about these techniques and themes that Miller used thatcaused Eddie to get the tragic ending that he did.
